What's Lomography to you? Awesome effects to photos without even touching photoshop What do you think of it? Pure Awesome When and how did you discover Lomography? I actually knew about it for quite awhile, but I didn't know it was such a cool thing until my cousin Naqib went spaz crazy about it What is your first Lomo camera? Fisheye 2 What is your Lomo style? Don't worry about any rules
Additional;
Lomography is rad. I think I like it more than those big-ass 10,000,000 Megapixeled SLR cameras. Sure, the pictures don't come out instantly, and with the overrated quality, but I'd go for the funky colours and effects of a lomo over the quality from the pictures of a digital camera any day. Well, that is, if any of you get what I mean, or if I am actually making any sense here. Heheh :) They cost alot cheaper, and with the money to get an SLR, I could get... up to 10 or more lomographic cameras. WOAH! that'd be awesome. haha. okay. enough. I'm not going to waste any more of your time 0:)
Yep, the first few shots. I hope you guys enjoy... even though some are not really that good, but what important here is to learn from mistakes.
Multiple exposure, moving hand + flame from a lighter.
Fisheye lens.
Multiple exposure, King's College building.
Fisheye, over-exposed?
Multiple exposure again =p
Fisheye lens, near Johnston's Hall.
Double exposure.
Taylor's building small garden.
Long exposure, it doesn't suppose to look like this right? Haha.
Bridge of Don.
Orchid power!
Edward Wright's building.
So, do give comments and feedbacks. Good or bad. I can handle it. I need to learn a lot here. My friend, who is a photographer, said I broke so many photography rules here. But I don't really care. Buehehehe.
What's Lomography to you? Saturated colours, analogue, toy cameras, freedom. What do you think of it? Awesomeness. When and how did you discover Lomography? New year's eve 2008, when I was so jobless, waiting for life to offer me something. Found it when googling up for vintage cameras and so forth. What is your first Lomo camera? Diana F+ minus the flash with some additional lenses. What is your Lomo style? 'Get as close as possible.' But seriously, I'm new and still experimenting.
I'd like to inform that I've just created a network on Socialgo.com. I was looking for free forums... I found a lot but there were difficult to manage. And I found out Socialgo has a free forum, so, I thought that would be a great thing to use for LomoBru. I hope everyone of you will find it okay and easy to use... even if it's not, I'm sure you will get the hang of it.
The website for LomoBru network is: http://lomobru.socialgo.com
People residing outside of Brunei can now share their photos with us LomoBru members by posting their photos in one of those section in the forum. But to those Bruneian who intend to join the network but not members of LomoBru yet, think of it first... do join LomoBru and I'd be happy to know if you do.
I know i kinda posted already, but i thought this was cool to share!
"This ‘solargraph’ of the Clifton Suspension Bridge in Bristol was taken over the course of three months with the passage of the sun through the sky creating a curved pattern behind the historic bridge. Pinhole photographer Justin made a basic camera from an empty drinks can with a sheet of photographic paper inside and a pinhole less than 1/4 of a millimetre in diameter. One bright sunny days the sun creates a solid line from horizon to horizon but on cloudy days no line or a broken line is captured. The lowest, shortest line was formed first at the winter solstice when the exposure began with the longer more curved lines formed as the season moves towards summer."
