First Event Update!

LomoBru's first event was a success! It was a joint event with The Body Shop, Break The Silence on Domestic Violence. We get to fill our so called LomoWalls which were the two pillars within the two days event. This is how it worked; people donated a minimum of B$2.00 or buy The Body's Lip Care, get a daisy for every donation and get their photos taken with our Lomo cameras available during the event. Everytime we finished a roll, we send it straight to get them developed and printed and picked them up when it's ready and sticked them on our LomoWalls. Yes, it was like an express Lomo that people only had to get back within one and the half hour time since their photos were taken to see their photos being displayed. The displays are on for two weeks, so, if you'd like to see them again and see how many photos we've gathered, do visit The Mall's Body Shop.

LomoBru would like to thank Zaslin Maidin of The Body Shop for giving us the opportunity to collaborate. Thank you! And thank you to the donors for supporting our campaign. Thank you, everyone who came. Thank you, Reeda Malik of anakbrunei.com for the extra films. And not forgetting the LomoBru members and friends who participated in the photo taking activity, thank you and well done! Thank you!

I bet all of us are looking forward to a next Lomography event. If you're planning to invite us, e-mail LomoBru at least a month in advance before the actual event and we can sort things out.

Thanks Mastahwa for this logo!
